Okay stay near the centre

cute landlordbig roomcomfy bed
The landlord was a nice guy and very cute. I got a big room, it was pleasant. The bed was comfy. The location was perfect for the cricket, horse racing, and the city centre.
My room overlooked a very busy junction and pedestrian crossing. Traffic was very noisy until midnight.
Facilities
8/10
The room included tea-making facilities, enabling guests to enjoy hot beverages, though NO hairdryer was available in the room, which some guests might find inconvenient. An iron and ironing board were inside the built-in wardrobe.

Convenient Stay with Helpful Staff

My room was bigger than expected and was clean. I found the staff friendly. The river view from my room was nice. I appreciated the reasonably priced bar drinks at the hotel.
The old sash windows allowed a lot of road noise. This made it difficult to sleep.
